Environmental Management

Anthony O. Bentil Jr is a seasoned environmental and social safeguard professional with over a decade years’ experience in project management, meeting lender expectations for environmental and social performance of projects including extensive public participation and participatory stakeholder engagements. He is very successful with meeting the Ghanaian EPA permitting requirement across key industrial sectors notably manufacturing, construction, power generation, oil and gas. On several ESIA projects, Tony Bentil Jr worked as the team lead, coordinating the activities of several key experts, acted as the Clients’ EPA liaison to ensure that all permitting requirement were met and ensured the quality of deliverables were comparable to international best practices and standards. In close collaboration of clients, Tony employed extensive stakeholder mapping exercises to identify and consult with all relevant key stakeholders (Government, chief and opinion leaders, community members, NGO’s, civil society, others) to identify key environmental and social issues associated with a proposed project. 

Quality Management

With about seven (7) years in quality management, Anthony Bentil Jr has been involved in the planning of quality in works, organising resources, carrying out the control, monitoring and measurement of the quality of works, generate preserve and provide evidence of the quality of the industrial (laboratory, research and construction) process to the client as well as raise awareness and ensure the awareness of the team members to quality. In 2017, i assisted my former company ERC to acquire  ISO 9001 and ISO 17025-2017 accreditations. These two accreditations were both quality management system but with 17025 tailored to only testing laboratories. In 2020, i joined my current company as a Quality Assurance Manager., a position i hold till date.
